Bird Strikes Hit Senior Obama Administration Officials’ Planes

(NEW YORK) — So much for the friendly skies — lately it seems like they’re full of angry birds, taking aim at high-ranking officials. Bird strikes are very common, but sometimes they can cause significant damage. On Thursday, there were three high profile incidents of birds flying into jet engines. Vice President Biden’s plane, Air Force Two, was on approach into California’s Santa Barbara airport when the 757 was hit by birds. The pilots noticed the bird strike right as it happened, but sources say that passengers couldn’t even tell the plane had hit anything. “Think about a bird. It […]

Why Miranda and Blake Won’t Work Together Very Often

We’ve heard Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert singing together on songs like “Home” and “Better in the Long Run,” from Miranda’s latest CD.  But if you’re hoping for an entire album of duets, you might have to wait awhile. With a new CD and single titled “100 Proof,” maybe it’s no surprise that Kellie Pickler used to get kicked out of bars. But it’s not for the reason you might think. “I love karaoke!” she confesses. “I used to go sing karaoke all the time, and I would actually have to sneak in ’cause I wasn’t of age. You had to be 21 or older because it was in a bar, and I would always sneak in, and go put my name on the karaoke list and sing, and then [they’d] realize that I’m too young and [I’d] get […]
