    (AURORA, Colo.) — On the day when lawyers for James Holmes declared their client to be mentally ill, the accused Aurora, Colo., movie theater shooter’s landlord said Thursday he wants Holmes out of his apartment. Holmes has been jailed since the July 20 shooting that left 12 people dead and 58 wounded, but an attorney for the landlord who filed papers on Wednesday says the former neuroscience doctoral student technically remains a tenant at his Aurora apartment.     ‘Jane Doe’ Sought in Child Pornography Case

    (WASHINGTON) — U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is seeking the public’s assistance to identify a woman, “Jane Doe,” who has been accused of molesting two young girls in a child pornography case. Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agents obtained images of the woman, who, along with an unidentified man, allegedly victimized the two girls.  One is believed to be between the ages of 5 and 7 and the other is believed to be between the ages of 3 and 5.     (CHICAGO) — Drew Peterson once grabbed his wife around her neck and asked, “Why don’t you just die?” according to a friend of Kathleen Savio’s who testified in Peterson’s murder trial Thursday.     Senior Army NCO Killed in Afghanistan Suicide Blast, Brigade Commander Is Wounded

    (WASHINGTON) — A suicide bomb attack in eastern Afghanistan has killed or wounded the senior leaders of the Army’s 4th Brigade, 4th Infantry Division. The attack Wednesday killed four Americans, three U.S. service members and a USAID foreign service officer.  Among the dead was the brigade’s command sergeant major, the brigade’s senior enlisted non-commissioned officer.
