The decision by Florida special prosecutor Angela Corey is expected to be announced at a 6 p.m. news conference in Jacksonville, Fla. The prosecutor’s ruling is certain to provoke controversy in Sanford, Fla., where shooting took place and across the country. Charles Manson Denied Parole Again

(LOS ANGELES) — Mass murderer Charles Manson was denied parole Wednesday by the California parole board. It was the twelfth time Manson has been rejected for release. Manson is serving a life sentence for seven murders in a 1969 killing spree in Los Angeles. True to form, Manson boycotted the hearing and did not attend. Wednesday could have been Manson’s last chance for freedom since the California Department of Corrections set Manson’s next hearing for 15 years from now. Manson would be 92 by then. Manson has been less than a model inmate. He has violated several rules in the […]

Brantley Gilbert Explains Why He’s Not Moving to Nashville

Brantley Gilbert is one of country’s hottest new acts right now, and he’s pulled it off without making the move to Nashville. Though most up-and-coming country stars find it helpful to be in the center of the action, Brantley prefers staying back home in Georgia. “I’ve been asked a million times to move to Nashville, but I just can’t seem to do it,” Brantley tells Parade.com. “This is where my roots are and this is home. I’m sticking true to my roots.” Even if Brantley moved to Nashville, he still wouldn’t spend much time there. He continues his run of […]

From there, they’ll journey on through the U.S. and Canada. In July, Lady […]

Thieves Stealing Car Registrations to Find and Rob Empty Homes

(SEATTLE) — Thieves in Seattle are finding a new way to target victims: stealing vehicle registrations from cars parked at movie theaters, checking the address of the registration, and heading straight for the vehicle owners’ homes for a two-hour stealing spree. The Kings County, Wash., Sheriff’s Department has responded to four reports of car burglaries in the past two weeks that have turned out to be much more than smash-and-grab thefts. As moviegoers arrive in the parking lot and leave their cars to go inside, vigilant thieves swoop in, smash the passengers’ side window and reach into the glove box […]

Mass Murderer Charles Manson Up for Parole

(LOS ANGELES) — A California parole board will meet on Wednesday to determine if mass murderer Charles Manson could be considered “suitable” for parole. Manson has been denied parole 11 times over the years and his several violations of prison rules do not bode well for any hopes of freedom.  He is serving a life sentence for seven murders in a 1969 killing spree in Los Angeles. “We do not expect that Manson will show up.  He has not shown up for several of his latest hearings, since 1997,” California Department of Corrections spokesman Luis Patino told ABC News.  “He […]
