    (NEW YORK) — After weeks of heavy rain, many rivers in the central U.S. continue to rise to or toward record flood stages, including in Little Rock, where the Arkansas River reached its highest level since 1945, and in St. Louis, where the Mississippi River reached its highest since 1993. Almost three dozen levees have been breached or overtopped since May 22, and more could be facing a similar fate as additional rain targets the region.     (GREENVILLE, N.C.) — A teenager was airlifted to a North Carolina hospital on Sunday after she was bitten by a shark. The 17-year-old girl suffered severe injuries to her legs, pelvis and hands while swimming off Atlantic Beach in North Carolina, authorities said. Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene at around noon and airlifted her to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, North Carolina, where she was treated for “deep lacerations to her leg, pelvic and hand areas,” according to the Atlantic Beach Fire Department.     (NEW CANAAN, Conn.) — Fotis Dulos, the husband of missing Connecticut mother Jennifer Dulos, has been arrested in connection with her disappearance, according to police. The girlfriend of Fotis Dulos, Michelle Troconis, 44, has also been arrested, according to a press release by the New Canaan Police Department.
