Listen now: Thomas Rhett loves to “Remember You Young” in sentimental new track

Thomas Rhett’s giving his fans another sneak preview of his forthcoming Center Point Road album with the new track, “Remember You Young,” which is available to stream or download now. “Remember You Young” continues the nostalgic vibe TR promises on much of the record, which is named for the street where he grew up. “We wrote this song about the people in life that we love,” he explains, “and always remembering them in their youth no matter how much time passes and [how much] we all change.”    “There’s something sentimental about remembering your very best friends — who have real jobs and […]

Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood are in a secret feud! Except they’re actually not, and Kelly is calling out Star magazine for claiming they are. Kelly tweeted a photo of the magazine’s cover — which claims that the two American Idol winners’ “secret feud” has exploded, and they are “TRASHING each other to friends” — and complained that the magazine didn’t even have the decency to use a good picture of her. “Someone just sent me this & I’m like why does she get the good pic & I have the worst expression I’ve ever made w/zero muscles being used […]

Kenny Chesney taught Old Dominion how to “Make It Sweet” on tour

Old Dominion‘s currently on their own headlining Make It Sweet Tour, but after several summers opening for Kenny Chesney, they’re not too proud to admit they’ve borrowed some of the superstar’s best ideas. OD’s backstage area, particularly, is modeled after what you’d see at a Kenny show. “I think we’ve ripped everything from Kenny!” lead singer Matthew Ramsey reveals, as the rest of the band laughs. “We do have a cool vibe [room], yeah,” Trevor Rosen adds, “like we have these record players strategically placed and stuff.” “The backstage vibe is sort of similar to his,” Matthew explains, “but it’s because it works so well. Luke Combs’ “Beautiful Crazy” run at #1 lands him in the history books

Brett Young’s “Here Tonight” might have ended Luke Combs’ seven-week run at the top of Billboard’s Country Airplay chart this week, but Luke can still say he’s scored the second most popular song in that chart’s history. Two songs are tied for the longest reign on the Country Airplay chart: 2003’s “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere” by Alan Jackson and Jimmy Buffett and 1999’s “Amazed” by Lonestar both spent eight weeks at number one. Meanwhile, “Beautiful Crazy” is still hanging on at #1 on a different Billboard chart: the Hot Country Songs tally. Luke’s fans are now waiting to see how he’ll follow up his monster hit from his debut album, This One’s for […]
