  • New Teacher of the Year announced

    SANFORD–Jordan Chaney, a teacher at B. T. Bullock Elementary School is Lee County’s new teacher of the year. She competed against teachers from the county’s schools and the Lee Early College. All of the honorees were honored Monday evening and in addition to a $500 check from Wells Fargo, she received the full use of a 2017 Chevrolet Cruise from Wilkinson Cadillac for one year.
