Chris Stapleton will help honor Dolly Parton during a gala event on February 8 where the country legend will be celebrated as the 2019 MusiCares Person of the Year.

Additional acts, including pop stars PinkShawn Mendes and Mark Ronson, will also pay tribute to the Dolly during the pre-Grammy event.  The annual bash raises money for MusiCares, the charitable arm of the Recording Academy, which hands out the Grammys.

Also on the bill will be R&B star Leon Bridges and gospel/pop star Lauren Daigle.

According to the Recording Academy, Dolly is being honored thanks to her “significant creative accomplishments and longtime support of many charitable causes.” Past honorees include Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Lionel Richie, Stevie Wonder, Bono and Aretha Franklin.

The 61st Annual Grammy Awards take place Sunday, February 10 at the STAPLES Center in L.A. and will air on CBS.
