(RICHMOND. Va.) — Police in Richmond, Virginia, responded to a shooting incident at a Greyhound bus station Thursday afternoon, according to local law enforcement.
One Virginia State Police troopers and two civilians have been transported to a local hospital for treatment, police said. It was not clear what type of injuries they sustained or their conditions.
The shooting suspect is in custody and the incident remains under investigation.
Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe said he is monitoring the situation and is prepared to offer Richmond, “whatever state resources may be necessary to respond to this situation.”
A rep for Greyhound said the station where the shooting occurred is closed at this time, and said the company was cooperating with local authorities.
