Thomas Rhett kicked off the week by celebrating with a party for close family and friends Monday at BarTaco, a trendy new spot in the 12South area of Nashville. The festivities marked the fact that both singles so far from Thomas’s Tangled Up album have been certified platinum and gone to number one.
The first one, “Crash and Burn,” is now finding success as Thomas’s first release overseas, just as he prepares to play the main stage at the Country 2 Country Festival next month in London. “Die a Happy Man,” meanwhile, just notched its 15th week as country’s top digital song, according to Billboard.
