“Power of Positive Drinkin’” hitmaker Chris Janson started the first week in February with the best wake-up call of all.

“I woke up to the sweet sound of screaming kids and ACM nominations,” he says. “It’s caught me completely off guard and I’m shocked, thankful and thrilled! Woohoo!! I’m so grateful to the country music community and the many fans for giving me these amazing opportunities. Thank you all!” he adds.

Chris has the chance to take home three trophies at the 51st Academy of Country Music Awards. Two are for Single Record of the Year contender, “Buy Me a Boat,” which he both performed and produced. He’s also in the running for New Male Vocalist. We’ll find out if he wins April 3, when the awards air live from Las Vegas on CBS.

February 18, Chris heads out on tour with Blake Shelton, with their first date set for US Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio.
