There’s officially new music on the way this year from Blake Shelton. The Oklahoma hitmaker has recorded the original song “Friends” for the upcoming Angry Birds Movie. Sony Pictures has also released a photo of the “Gonna” singer alongside the character he voices in the animated feature, a cowboy pig named Earl.

The star of The Voice helps bring a tribe of mysterious green pigs to life, who arrive on an island to disrupt the lives of a group of happy, flightless birds. Jason Sudeikis, Maya Rudolph and Kate McKinnon also star in the film based on the popular smartphone game. The 3D comedy opens May 20.

Meanwhile, Blake sets out on his winter tour with Chris Janson on February 18 in Cincinnati, Ohio, before he hosts the 2016 Kids Choice Awards March 28 on Nickelodeon.
