(SAN FRANCISCO) — Saint Luke’s Hospital in San Francisco was on lockdown on Wednesday after hospital officials reportedly said an altercation in an emergency room moved next door to a hospital affiliated construction site, resulting in a police-involved shooting.
The suspect apparently robbed a Big 5 Store and stole a rifle, reports ABC affiliate KGO-TV.
The situation began when police were alerted that a man with firearms was on the roof of a construction site.
According to San Francisco police, the suspect is dead.
No officers or civilians were injured.
