You should start hearing the first single from Frankie Ballard’s next album on country radio soon. On the heels of three number ones — “Helluva Life,” “Sunshine & Whiskey” and “Young & Crazy” — Frankie traveled to the Sonic Ranch in El Paso, Texas to record 14 songs, including “It All Started with a Beer.”
The new single was co-written by Jaren Johnston from The Cadillac Three, who also had a had in writing “Sunshine & Whiskey,” the title track of Frankie’s current project. So far, there’s no word on when the new album will be released or what it will be called. In addition to announcing the pre-broadcast winners at this week’s CMA Awards, Frankie heads out on the We Went tour November 19 with Randy Houser and Craig Campbell.
