(HOUSTON) — Texas Southern University is on lockdown after two people were shot Friday near a school residence hall, a spokesperson for the school told ABC News.
A statement instructed staff and students to remain in their classrooms until further notice.
The campus is in the heart of Houston, so it is unclear whether or not the shooting involved students, the spokesperson said.
The school said that the assailant was still at large.
