(WASHINGTON) — Pope Francis is en route to the United States after leaving Cuba slightly earlier than expected.
The head of the Catholic church is slated to arrive at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland, just outside of Washington, D.C.
He will be greeted by President Obama, the first family and Vice President Joe Biden, which is a welcome even more special than many heads of state receive when they travel to the U.S.
