(WESTCHESTER, OH.) — The Army skydiver killed at the Chicago Air and Water Show was laid to rest Saturday in his hometown of Westchester, Ohio.
Master Sergeant Cory Hood died Aug. 16, a day after colliding in mid-air with another military jumper.
Several of his Golden Knight brothers landed landed on the field where the memorial service was being held via parachute.
Hood, who served five tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan, was awarded two bronze stars for his service. He was posthumously promoted to master sergeant.
