(SAN FRANCISCO) — A magnitude 4.0 earthquake rattled the San Francisco Bay Area on Monday morning.
The earthquake hit early in the morning and was centered around Piedmont, about 13 miles east of San Francisco.
Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) trains were stopped as a precaution following the quake.
No one was injured and there was no major damage reported.
