(HATTIESBURG, Miss.) — The four people arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of two Mississippi police officers during a traffic stop over the weekend appeared Monday at a court hearing.

Marvin Banks, 29, has been charged with two counts of capital murder, one count of grand theft auto and one count of felonious possession of a firearm, according to ABC News affiliate WDAM-TV.

His girlfriend, Joanie Calloway, had initially been charged with two counts of murder as well, but her charges were lessened to one count of accessory after the fact during Monday’s court hearing.

Cornelius Clark was charged with obstruction of justice and hindering prosecution, while Marvin Banks’ brother Curtis was charged with one count of being an accessory after the fact to capital, authorities said.

All four are being held in the custody of the Forrest County Sheriff’s Department and have not yet had to enter pleas.
