(BOSTON) — Dramatic video shows a Bolt Bus exploding on a Massachusetts highway Monday afternoon.

In spite of the fiery blast that blew out many of the bus’ windows, state police have reported that there were no injuries.

The explosion took place on the Massachusetts Turnpike near West Newton shortly before 5 p.m., according to ABC News affiliate WCVB. Video of the incident was caught on video and posted to Twitter.

The entire eastbound lane of the turnpike was closed by state police while they tried to contain the blaze.

One lane was reopened about 20 minutes later once the fire was extinguished with the warning that drivers should expect delays, the state police posted on Twitter.

Bolt Bus did not immediately return ABC News’ requests for comment.

Boston is the northernmost stop that any of the company’s bus routes make.
