(NEW YORK) — New York City’s Fire Department has responded to a partial building collapse and seven-alarm fire Thursday at a building on the Lower East Side of Manhattan.

The New York Police Department also responded to the scene.

At least one person was believed to be in critical condition and several others injured, the FDNY said.
