Reba‘s latest single, “Going Out Like That,” bows at #28 on Billboard‘s Hot Country Songs chart — her highest debut ever on that tally.

This bests her previous entry at #32 on “If You See Him/If You See Her” with Brooks & Dunn in 1998. At that time, Hot Country Songs chart positions were based solely on radio airplay; now, downloads and streams are factored in with airplay to determine chart placement. “Going Out Like That” benefits from 21,000 downloads sold in the first week, which is Reba’s best digital sales week ever. Her previous digital high mark was the #1 hit “Consider Me Gone,” which sold 19,000 downloads one week in January 2010.

“Going Out Like That” is the first single from Reba’s new studio album, due out in April.
