(NEW YORK) — Frozen temperatures are reaching across much of the U.S. on Thursday, with an estimated 200 million Americans facing temperatures under freezing.
The weather started to cause plenty of headaches before the day even started as schools in Boston, Chicago and Milwaukee closed Thursday due to the frigid temperatures.
Even southern states are dealing with the deep freeze. Eight states, including all states along the Gulf of Mexico, have had hard freeze warnings in place.
Even Texas was hit with a freezing rain warning, according to the National Weather Service.
