(ASHLAND, N.H.) — Thirty-five vehicles were involved in two separate pile-ups on a New Hampshire interstate following snow squalls that pummeled the region, ABC News affiliate WMUR-TV in Manchester reports.
The accidents on the northbound lanes of Interstate 93, which reportedly left smoke coming from a tractor trailer carrying wood chips, resulted from icy road conditions, according to New Hampshire State Police, who said the first call came in at 9:48 a.m. on Friday.
There were a few injuries, all of them minor, police said.
