(MIAMI) — The U.S. Coast Guard located four bodies in the water about 20 miles off the coast of Hollywood Beach in Florida on Sunday morning.
The Coast Guard confirmed the discovery, noting that a search was ongoing for other possible people in the water. The Coast Guard was alerted to two male bodies floating in the water east of Hollywood Beach. They later discovered a female body. No information has been provided about the fourth body found.
The Coast Guard did not immediately release any additional information about the bodies, or how they might have ended up in the ocean.
