(WASHINGTON) — The White House went on lockdown for the second time this week after two individuals threw objects over the fences surrounding the building, a Secret Service official said.
Authorities closed Pennsylvania Avenue, shut down the North Lawn, and would not allow individuals inside the White House to exit the building.
According to a Secret Service official, both individuals were in custody and officers were working to clear the items thrown over the fence.
