Brett Eldredge started out singing Frank Sinatra songs as a kid in his hometown of Paris, IL, but he quickly went country after hearing Ronnie Dunn‘s voice on Brooks & Dunn‘s Greatest Hits album.

“When I first heard Brooks & Dunn, I was hooked,” Brett tells the Ocala Star-Banner of discovering Brooks & Dunn during his freshman year of high school. “I had a boat named ‘Bessie,’ and we listened to that CD the whole summer.”

Brett has now scored his second country hit with “Beat of the Music.” It’s included on his debut album, Bring You Back, out now.
