(SAN DIEGO) — A San Diego naval base is on lockdown Thursday after an unsubstantiated report of a person with a weapon, an official said.

Naval Base Point Loma issued a “shelter in place” order.

“All hands are directed to remain clear of Naval Base Point Loma and surrounding area due to law enforcement incident,” Naval Base San Diego wrote on Facebook. “Standby for further information.”

The Naval Installations Command tweeted that two suspects are in custody and no shots were fired, but said the shelter in place remains in effect. No other details were provided.
