He’s also up for Vocal Event of the Year with “Highway Don’t Care” and his Miranda Lambert duet, “We Were Us.” Keith tweeted Wednesday, “Ahhhhhhhhhh just heard about @ACMawards noms… absolutely blown away!!!! THANK YOU EVERYBODY!!! Big love to Tim, Taylor & Miranda too!”

Miranda Lambert landed a nomination in the ACM’s top category, Entertainer of the Year. She said in a statement, “As a female artist, it has been a long time goal for me to be in this category. And such great company too! I work hard on my craft and my art, and to be nominated alongside these incredible artists that are my friends and peers, means the world to me.”

Gary Allan picked up a Song of the Year nomination as a co-writer of his hit, “Every Storm (Runs Out of Rain).” Gary was in another writing session when he got the good news Wednesday. He says, “It’s always nice to be recognized for what you do.  While we were writing the song, we knew we had something special.  I’m glad to hear that our peers agree.”

New duo Dan + Shay found themselves nominated against heavyweights like Florida Georgia Line and Thompson Square in the ACM Duo of the Year category. Day + Shay tweeted, ” We could not be prouder to announce that we are a 2014 @ACMawards Vocal Duo of the Year Nominee! Dream come true!”
