Kacey Musgraves was a big winner at the Grammy Awards Sunday night taking best country album honors for Same Trailer Different Park. She also picked up the best country song award for “Merry Go Round” during the pre-telecast.

For her performance of “Follow Your Arrow,” Kacey built on the desert theme from the video. The stage was decked out with neon cacti and both Kacey’s boots and her band members’ western jackets were wired with flashing lights.

Hunter Hayes grew emotional singing his brand-new anti-bullying anthem, “Invisible.” Inspirational quotes from John Lennon, Johnny Depp, Lady Gaga and Steve Jobs were shown on a screen behind Hunter as he performed.

Keith Urban rocked out on the guitar with first-time winner Gary Clark, Jr. on Keith’s latest single, “Cop Car.” Taylor Swift sat at the piano for her dramatic performance of “All Too Well,” an album cut from Red.

Willie Nelson and Kris Kristofferson revisited their hit, “Highwayman,” before Merle Haggard and Blake Shelton joined them for a performance of Merle’s “Okie from Muskogee.” They closed out the set with a group performance of “Mamas Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys.”

Miranda Lambert teamed up with rocker Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day to pay tribute to the late Phil Everly with a performance of The Everly Brothers‘ “When Will I Be Loved.”
