SANFORD–After a two month investigation, Lee County authorities have arrested five suspects in connection with the November 11 murder of 45 year old Wayne Giles of Hickory Nut Court. Giles was killed after a suspect, allegedly wearing a Lee County Sheriff’s Department sweatshirt, forced his way into the home, robbed it, tied up the wife and shot Giles. He was dead at the scene. One suspect is still at large and the investigation continues. The suspects are being held in the county jail without bail.
