(GLENDORA, Calif.) — Fire crews are battling a wildfire in the Angeles National Forest just north of Glendora.

Officials say the flames have torched about 1,700 acres of land and have destroyed at least two homes.

Goddard Middle School and Citrus College in Glendora were closed as a result of the wildfire, and many residents were evacuated.

Three men in their 20s have been arrested in connection with the fire.
