(LOS ANGELES) — Seven people were injured on Saturday after a horse got loose at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center.
At about 11:50 a.m. PT, a horse got loose from its rider and struck multiple horses and people, injuring four adults and three minors, according to the Burbank Police Department. All seven injured individuals were reportedly taken to local hospitals, though none of the injuries were considered serious. The horse was eventually contained.
The Burbank Police Department said that a group of people”related to” the Rose Parade were present at the equestrian center, according to Burbank Police Sergeant Jerry Misquez. It is unclear whether any members of that group were among the injured.
