(NEWTOWN, Conn.) — Connecticut State Police released the final report on the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, more than one year after the tragedy claimed the lives of 20 first-graders and six staff members.
The report, thousands of pages long, was made public Friday and includes previously unseen video from inside gunman Adam Lanza’s home.
Narrated police video shows Lanza’s room with black garbage bags over the windows and a collection of video games. Other images include the dumbell and keys he used to destroy a computer and hard drive.
Photographs from inside the Sandy Hook school are seen, with blood-stained classroom floors and shell casings. The report also contains testimony from first-responding officers, with one describing travelling from classroom to classroom to find where the shooter was most active.
No bodies are shown in the report, with images redacted for public viewing, according to state police.
