Lady Antebellum‘s Hillary Scott will celebrate her first Christmas with her baby girl, Eisele [pr: IZE-lee], this year, but she and her husband, drummer Chris Tyrell, aren’t going over-the-top with Christmas gifts for the little one.
Hillary tells ABC News Radio, “I think the two of us, my husband and I, will probably get her a few things, but it will be — she’s the first grandchild on both sides, so I think the grandparents will definitely shower her with presents.”
Hillary and Chris celebrated their first Christmas as a married couple last year, and he convinced her to get a real Christmas tree instead of putting up her usual fake one.
“He’s from Albany, NY, and they’ve always had a real Christmas tree,” Hillary explains. “So, I said, ‘Wonderful, great. You get to take care of it ’cause I do not have a green thumb.'”
Hillary and Chris look forward to starting new Christmas traditions with Eisele this holiday season.
