(ATLANTA) — Two people are dead after a small plane crashed in northwest Atlanta on Tuesday.

It was not immediately clear whether those killed were aboard the aircraft or on the ground at the time of the incident.

It’s believed the multi-engine aircraft, a Raytheon 390 Premier I, crashed shortly after 7 p.m. after departing Atlanta’s Fulton County Airport. The flight was reportedly destined for New Orleans Lakefront Airport in Louisiana.
