(LOS ANGELES) — The man accused of opening fire and killing a TSA officer at Los Angeles International Airport has been indicted by a federal grand jury.

The 11-count indictment charges 23-year-old Paul Ciancia with the first degree murder of Gerardo Hernandez, attempted murder, and a list of other charges. These new counts replace charges that were filed against Ciancia in the days after the shooting.

If he’s found guilty, Ciancia could get the death penalty. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Dec. 26.
