(LOS ANGELES) — The man accused of opening fire inside a terminal at Los Angeles International Airport, killing a TSA officer, is reportedly out of the hospital.
In the days after the Nov. 1 shooting, 23-year-old suspect Paul Ciancia was in critical condition and unresponsive. Ciancia had been shot multiple times by police, including once in the face.
On Tuesday Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center said Ciancia had been released — presumably into federal custody.
Ciancia is facing charges, including murder of a federal officer.
