Little Big Town has been feeling inspired to hit the studio lately to begin work on their next album, but the band’s CMA Group of the Year win added more fuel to their fire.

LBT’s Karen Fairchild says, “Yeah, it gets us ready. We can’t hang our hat on it, but it definitely inspires us towards the future. We’re ready to go in that studio, I’ll tell you that.”

She adds, “All we ever wanted to do was make music together, and to make music for the fans. We’re getting to do that on a bigger platform because of things like this.”

While Little Big Town continues “writing songs like crazy” for the follow up to Tornado, the latest single from that album, “Sober,” makes its way up the country chart.
