(DENVER) — Two men believed to be armed broke into a middle school in Denver, police said early Tuesday morning.

SWAT teams have responded to Noel Middle School; no one else is said to be in the building, police said on Twitter.

Police have alerted the neighborhood to remain indoors as the situation unfolds, but no evacuations have taken place, Denver Police Sgt. Steve Warneke told ABC News.

Police are communicating with the suspects via the school’s PA system, ABC News affiliate KMGH reported.  The suspects were spotted by a school janitor Monday night.
