Keith Urban is absolutely fascinated watching his daughters’ distinct personalities emerge as they get older. His oldest, five-year-old Sunday Rose, is the more outgoing of the two siblings, and Keith tells ABC News Radio she’s really earned her nickname, Sunny.
“She’s really her name,” Keith says. “Her disposition is very up and sunny.”
Keith’s younger daughter, Faith Margaret, is just two-and-a-half, but she’s already developed a more introverted personality.
Says Keith, “She has a different, inward kind of thought-energy thing. Even at two-and-half, you can see it.”
One thing Sunday and Faith Margaret have in common is a deep love of the Scottish children’s show, Shawn the Sheep. They even forced Keith to learn the Shaun the Sheep theme song on the piano, and it’s by far the girls’ favorite song their dad plays around the house.
He says with a laugh, “I play ‘Shaun the Sheep,’ like, all the time.”
Keith won’t be singing the Shaun the Sheep theme when he performs on the 47th Annual CMA Awards, broadcasting live from Nashville on ABC Wednesday, November 6.
