Carrie Underwood received the 2013 Artistic Achievement Award at the T.J. Martell Foundation’s 38th Annual Honors Gala Tuesday night in New York City. Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin flew in to honor Carrie, who hails from Checotah, OK. Former President Bill Clinton also attended the event.
Sting and Bryan Adams closed out the night performing a few songs together. The Honors Gala ended up raising $1.4 million for the T.J. Martell Foundation’s ongoing fight against cancer, leukemia and AIDS.
