Luke Bryan only gets back to his hometown of Leesburg, GA once a year these days, but he still lives by those small-town values now that he’s a country superstar.
“You learn and grow up in an environment around good, kind-hearted people and they bestow really great values on you,” Luke tells AccessAtlanta.com. “I’ve tried to carry that and take that small-town knowledge and go see the world and try to inspire.”
These days, you’re more likely to find Luke in a big city playing a sold-out arena than you are to find him out in the woods. Either way, Luke is a guy that can take care of himself.
He says, “I’ve been around the block a time or two, so you can let me out in New York City and I’ll be OK and you can leave me in a swamp and I’ll be OK there, too.”
Luke’s next show takes place Thursday night at the Riverbend Music Center on the banks of the Ohio River in Cincinnati.
