Little Big Town racked up multiple CMA Awards nominations Tuesday morning, including an Album of the Year nod for Tornado. That platinum-selling project has propelled the group’s career to a whole new level, thanks to the #1 hits “Pontoon” and “Tornado.” Little Big Town could be riding that success to a big arena tour of their own next year.
“We’ve felt a shift in our lives and in a way the career is moving,” the group’s Phillip Sweet tells Vindy.com. “We’ve definitely always wanted to be that band that headlines the big venues in the world, and I feel like we’re heading that way.”
Little Big Town is on the road with Keith Urban‘s Light the Fuse trek through early next year. They’ve got a show in Cleveland, OH Thursday night.
