The 2013 CMA Awards nominees were announced Tuesday morning, and a few of the finalists started partying as soon as they got the good news.

Little Big Town was on a plane when they found out about their three nominations, including Album of the Year for Tornado. The band tweeted, “Just heard INCREDIBLE news about our #CMA nominations! This plane’s about to be a big ‘ol party!”

Brett Eldredge woke up to a ton of missed calls and text messages Tuesday morning. He tweeted, “I had no idea why..Turns out I was nominated for CMA New Artist of the year! What!? Thanks CMA!”

Florida Georgia Line co-hosted the CMA Awards nominations announcement with Sheryl Crow in New York City, and they were very excited to hear Sheryl announce their name four times, including a mention in the Single of the Year category for “Cruise.” So, which of those four nods means the most to FGL?

The duo’s Tyler Hubbard tells ABC News Radio,Duo of the Year is a big one for us, and Single of the Year is big. I don’t know. It’s just any award is great, and we’re excited to be involved with country music and the awards for sure.”

The 47th Annual CMA Awards broadcast live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on ABC Wednesday, November 6 at 8 p.m. ET. Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood return as hosts.
