SANFORD–A pedestrian was struck by a train a short time ago on the tracks at Wicker & Moore Streets. A witness told GP news that she lives on the third floor of the Wilrik building and heard a loud noise and a loud whistle blowing. She said she looked out of the window and observed several persons bending over someone on the ground and CPR was being administered. Another witness said the victim had head and foot injuries. A landing zone was set up at Temple Ball Park to transport the victim to an area hospital.
