Carrie Underwood is enjoying some rarefied air when it comes to her play on country radio and other outlets. She was recently honored with several BMI Million-Air Awards, recognizing her song “All-American Girl” for two million performances and her hits “Mama’s Song” and “Good Girl” for a million performances each. Those plays are tabulated using figures from country radio, jukeboxes, TV and other broadcast performance numbers.

Toby Keith, Dolly Parton and Sir Paul McCartney are among the other songwriters who have been recognized with BMI Million-Air Awards.
