(BIRMINGHAM, Ala.) — The National Transportation Safety Board has recovered the black boxes from Wednesday’s UPS cargo plane crash that resulted in the deaths of two pilots.
The box will be sent to Washington, D.C., for analysis.
The crash happened while the plane was making its landing approach in Birmingham, Ala.
There is no word yet on what caused the accident. Officials are expected to brief the media Thursday afternoon on the latest developments.
