Luke Bryan is on track for a massive first sales week with his new album, Crash My Party. Billboard cites industry sources estimating the project could move at least 450,000 copies, which would make it Luke’s best sales week ever. That total would also give Luke the biggest first week sales for a male country artist since Kenny Chesney moved 469,000 copies of his 2005 album, The Road and the Radio.
If Luke’s album sells 450,000, it would be the third-biggest opening week so far this year behind Justin Timberlake and Jay Z, respectively. Crash My Party will most likely give Luke his second #1 on Billboard‘s Top 200 albums chart after Spring Break…Here to Party topped the chart earlier this year.
