Even though Carrie Underwood is on the road months at a time, she’s really a homebody at heart. While she has her tour bus to call home on the road, Carrie is stepping out of her comfort zone moving to New York City for her upcoming role in The Sound of Music.
Carrie’s days will be jam-packed with intense show rehearsals for the live production, so she won’t have much free time to really discover the city. During an appearance Tuesday on Live with Kelly & Michael, Carrie laid out her simple requirements while living in the Big Apple.
“My dogs will be with me, so I’ll need access to some grass,” Carrie says. “I don’t know. A gym. I love to grocery shop.”
Carrie is ready to put in the work with the other actors to get the live The Sound of Music broadcast right. So far, she’s holding off any jitters about singing and dancing on live TV. Carrie says, “It’s gonna be awesome. I’m not nervous yet.”
The Sound of Music airs live on NBC December 5.
