(LOS ANGELES) — A fast-moving wildfire south of Banning, Calif., has left at least three people — two firefighters and one civilian — with injuries.

At least 15 structures have been destroyed by the blaze, which has charred some 6,000 acres, fueled by high winds.  Mandatory evacuations went into effect Wednesday night for approximately 1,500 residents in harms way.
